What we believe

Our Beliefs – Jesus Saved My Life Church (JSML)

God’s Word

We believe the Bible is the living, God-breathed Word—true, unshakable, and final in all matters of faith and life. It is our foundation, our authority, and the standard by which we live and grow.
(Proverbs 30:5; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20–21)

One God, Three in One

We believe in one eternal God who reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three distinct persons, perfectly united as one. He is holy, sovereign, and present in all things.
(Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19; 1 John 5:7)

Jesus Christ – Savior and King

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. Born of a virgin, He lived without sin, revealed the heart of the Father, and performed mighty works. Through His death on the cross, He paid the price for our sins. He rose again in victory, ascended into heaven, and will return in power and glory.
(John 1:1,14; Philippians 2:5–6; 1 Timothy 3:16)

Birth From The Spirit

We believe Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, confirming His divine identity and mission.
(Luke 1:35; Matthew 1:18–23)

The Resurrection

We believe Jesus physically rose from the dead, conquering sin and death, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for us.
(Luke 24:36–39; Romans 8:34)

Humanity and Redemption

We believe humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin through disobedience. Because of this, all people need redemption, which is found only in Jesus Christ.
(Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 5:12)

Salvation by Grace

We believe salvation is a gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone—not by works. Through repentance, we turn from sin, receive forgiveness, and are made new.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10; Acts 3:19)

New Birth by the Spirit

We believe spiritual rebirth is essential. Through the Holy Spirit, we are made alive in Christ and brought into a real relationship with God.
(John 3:3–7)

Sanctification – Becoming Like Christ

We believe following Jesus is a daily walk of surrender. Through the Word and the Holy Spirit, we are continually transformed to reflect His character and live set apart lives.
(Romans 12:1–2; 2 Corinthians 3:18)

The Power of the Blood

We believe the blood of Jesus is fully sufficient to cleanse every sin, bringing freedom, healing, and restoration to all who believe.
(1 John 1:7; Colossians 1:20)

The Holy Spirit Within

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer—guiding, empowering, and strengthening them to live a life that honors God and walks in truth.
(John 14:17; Romans 8:11)

The Baptism and Power of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an empowerment for bold living, effective ministry, and supernatural witness. This can occur at salvation or as a deeper encounter with God.
(Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4)

Spiritual Gifts

We believe the Holy Spirit gives gifts to believers to build up the Church, strengthen faith, and demonstrate God’s power. These gifts operate in unity, love, and alignment with God’s Word.
(1 Corinthians 12; Romans 12:4–8)

The Church on Mission

We believe the Church is not limited to a building—it exists far beyond the four walls. The Church is the body of believers, called to go into the world, carry the Gospel, and be the hands and feet of Jesus in everyday life.

We believe God has established the five-fold ministry—apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers—to equip the saints, build up the Body, and bring believers into unity and spiritual maturity. Each role is vital in strengthening the Church and advancing the Kingdom of God.

We are called to love God, love people, and boldly live out our faith wherever we go.
(Matthew 28:19–20; Ephesians 4:11–13)

A Life Set Apart

We believe we are called to live holy, Spirit-led lives that reflect God’s love, truth, and righteousness in every area.
(1 Peter 1:15–16; Galatians 5:16)

Created with Purpose

We believe every person is created in the image of God with value, identity, and purpose. Men and women are equal in worth and are called to walk in His design and calling.
(Genesis 1:27)

Water Baptism 4/5/2026

Step Into New Life – Mass Water Baptism

Have you ever witnessed a moment so powerful it changes lives in an instant? A moment that stirs your spirit and fills the hearts of all believers with awe? That moment is water baptism—but not just any baptism. This is a bold, public declaration of your faith.

This… is more than just water. This is grace in action. As Acts 2:38 reminds us:
"Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins."
