At Jesus Saved My Life Ministries and Church, our mission for Spiritual Direction 101 is to guide believers into a deeper, intentional relationship with Jesus Christ. We are committed to helping individuals discern God’s voice, grow in spiritual maturity, and live fully in alignment with His purpose.

We aim to:

1. Cultivate a Listening Heart – Helping participants hear and recognize God’s guidance in daily life (John 10:27 – “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”).
    
2. Encourage Spiritual Growth – Equipping believers to grow in faith, wisdom, and Christlike character (2 Peter 3:18 – “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”).
    
3. Provide Discernment Tools – Offering practical spiritual practices such as prayer, meditation on Scripture, and reflection to discern God’s direction (Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight”).
    
4. Support Lifelong Transformation – Walking with each participant toward a life fully surrendered to God’s will (Romans 12:2 – “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind”).

At Jesus Saved My Life Ministries and Church, Spiritual Direction 101 was founded to equip leaders and believers to walk intimately with God and be guided fully by the Holy Spirit. With over 15 years of experience in ministry and spiritual guidance, we have honed a program that ensures every leader undergoes certified Spiritual Direction 101 training, cultivating discernment, spiritual maturity, and a Christ-centered approach to ministry.

We believe that true leadership is Spirit-led and grounded in the healing power of the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—bringing restoration, guidance, and transformation to all who serve and all who are ministered to. Our foundation is built on scripture:

• Guided by the Spirit: Romans 8:14 – “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.”
   
• Healing in the Trinity: 1 John 1:7 – “The blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin,” and John 14:26 – “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”
   
• Equipping Leaders: Ephesians 4:11-12 – “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.”
   

Through Spiritual Direction 101, our leaders are trained to discern God’s voice, minister with authority and love, and lead others into healing, freedom, and spiritual growth. Every step of this journey is rooted in prayer, Scripture, and the power of the Holy Spirit, drawing on over 15 years of hands-on experience in guiding believers toward a closer walk with Christ.

At Jesus Saved My Life Ministries and Church, our Spiritual Direction 101 program is rooted in the following core beliefs:

1. God’s Voice Guides Us
   We believe that every believer can hear and follow God’s voice through the Holy Spirit.
   Scripture: John 10:27 – “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
    
2. Spirit-Led Leadership
   True leadership flows from being fully led by the Holy Spirit, equipping leaders to serve with wisdom, love, and discernment.

3. Healing Through the Trinity
   We affirm the healing and restorative power of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in every believer’s life.

   We believe that regular prayer, reflection, and meditation on Scripture are essential tools for hearing God and making Spirit-led decisions.
